Beginners Courses

The Club is proud to have a fantasic group of instructors that can help you with your first venture into archery.

Each course is held on the same day and time on consecutive weeks, unless postponed due to bad weather. The course is taught in accordance with Archery GB Guidelines and all equipment needed will be provided.

For each course there will be 4 teaching days spread over 4 weeks, plus 2 further optional days which will be offered as free shooting days. At these free shooting days each participant will be given the opportunity of shooting with Club Members and trying out different types of bows (such as Mongolian, Scythian and Longbow) to get a feel for which suits best.

If, after completion of the course you wish to join the Club as a Member, instructors and Club Members can advise you on the purchase your own archery equipment.
